Children with dyslexia can succeed if you show them how!
LiteraSee Concepts Illustrated is a company whose mission is to provide structured literacy resources and visual aids for children in grades K - 8 with dyslexia or learning disabilities.
LiteraSee adheres to evidence-based interventions that include explicit teaching of literacy concepts, multisensory learning, phonics, phonemic awareness activities, syllable type/division strategies, and the study of morphology. For spelling variations, LiteraSee emphasizes the origins of the English language and generalized spelling patterns. Students also study affixes and base words beginning in Level One as an essential part of understanding word construction and meaning. Lessons in basic grammar and parts of speech help students with reading and writing, and spelling! Additionally, LiteraSee infuses the lessons with rich vocabulary words to aid background knowledge for better reading fluency and comprehension.
My main objective with LiteraSee is to create a quality product rooted in structured literacy that is accessible and affordable. Flexibility is essential, so many lessons include optional advanced insights for older students, starting at Level One. LiteraSee strives to simplify the teaching process by offering step-by-step instructions, unscripted prompts, and reusable lesson plans. LiteraSee's learning platform is unique due to the many creative spelling strategies, memorable illustrations, vowel team storyboards, and engaging games.
My mission is to help you remediate reading and spelling struggles efficiently, affordably, and (most of all) joyfully. I hope you will enjoy teaching with LiteraSee as much as I do and teachers, tutors, or parents like you!
With the determination to fully engage my students, I designed visual aids depicting each literacy concept while training at the Children's Dyslexia Center. This collection of cards completely transformed how I tutor my students and their ability to retain and apply each lesson. I group the cards into specific categories to help make literacy connections and to show "the big picture." After each lesson, I exhibit the corresponding concept card on the student's board to provide a convenient daily review. However, the most rewarding outcome of my work is the confidence and pride my students gain with each card added to their "wall of achievements."
After receiving my IMSLEC teaching certification, I realized that creating daily Orton-Gillingham-based, leveled lesson plans was unrealistic and time-consuming for most educators. LiteraSee was born from my passion for helping busy teachers, tutors, and homeschool parents access the same scope, sequence, and teaching methodology used by trained O-G tutors nationwide.
Happy Teaching!

We know that learning is easier when one has a visual and an auditory explanation. Seeing concepts grouped gives students a greater understanding of the big picture and provides an easily accessible review.
While using a multisensory approach, we encourage teachers, tutors, and parents to teach creatively. Students learn best by discovery when making personal connections. LiteraSee is suitable for grades K-12 because giving every student a good foundation is essential.
We want to make teaching literacy as enjoyable as it is effective, so we emphasize the learning process instead of rote memorization. Our unique teaching tools help children gain the strategies necessary to read and spell with confidence.
